Training time at Pembleton Farms:
Geno-
8 year Oldenburg gelding. As of 5/24/08 I have done about 1 year total training on him, with 9 months of that during his 4 yr old year when I started him. First video taken on 5/24/08 is after 2 weeks consistant work. Second video taken on 11/8/08 at 2nd level schooling show.
Roci-
PRE Andalusian gelding. Fun schooling. The Roci & Me video was taken on 5/24/08. The Second video was done 2/15/09 at a schooling show doing second level. Me & Rocinante in Second level test 2. This is his first 2nd level test and my first time showing him. Actually we never schooled this together...I had only been schooling him in a training level frame and had not ridden him for a couple weeks prior. Good job Rocinante
Western Training:
Monarch:
3 year BS Paint Gelding. 60 days under saddle. Came for manners and to be broke to ride with nothing done previously and recently gelded. Had an attitude and poor muscle developement, but as you can see he came along nicely. He is still unbalanced especially in the canter, but has come along way from having difficulty just to canter on a lunge line. 2 Part video 10min each of one of his daily work outs. *Mostly using seat & weight for turns & stopping, and rein for head position.
Twin Oaks Victory:
Two weeks of tune up training after having 2 years off from being a kids lesson and trail horse. Now very light on the aids and in bridle. Easy slow jog, getting more balanced canter. Starting on neck reining and stretching head toward the ground.
Training from the Start:
BLM Mustang is having her first day of training with me. Her previous owner who had adopted her from the BLM had a few broken bones from the mare...but don't worry it was only her toes ;) You can see she starts out challenging me alittle bit but within 20 min she is relaxed and I'm on her back. 3 videos totaling Approximately 20min total time as video ran out less than 5 min before jumping on her back :( but will attach a pic so you can view the end result.
