Lisa Pembleton from Pembleton Farms is on an adventure of a life time and would greatly appreciate any assistance along the way! Near future goal would be taking Jubilee WGR (Jubal) to Sporthorse Nationals this September in Kentucky. This colt has been owned and trained exclusively by Lisa Pembleton since he was a yearling and has very promising scores to take on the Nationals. The Total estimated cost is $3000. This would cover entry fees, overnight stables along the way, fuel, hotel in KY, food, and vehicle maintenance. This does not include the income loss while I am away. I have about one month before the trip begins September 20, 2009!
Next years goals (2010) :
Take Jubilee WGR to compete against all breeds in USDF (U.S. Dressage Federation) sporthorse divisions.
Qualify for USDF bronze and silver medals with Geovani and Rocinante.
Start process of becoming a certified instructor from the USDF.
Achieve Rider Performance Award from USDF in First and Second levels.
Ulitmate goal (Life achievement):
To become a successful international competitor in Dressage.
Represent the United States in the Olympics for Dressage.
Be a mentor for up and coming equine enthusiast of all disciplines.

I know how difficult finances are for everyone right now and have cut it down into bite size pieces so that everyone who wants to help out can. It will take only 300 people giving $10 to come up with enough funds to get Jubal and me back to KY competing for Nationals! So any amount is appreciated, from $10-$1000+ to services you can provide to help us get there.

There is maintenance that has to be done on the truck and trailer before the long haul to KY to assure a safe arrival round trip. I estimate $100 for the truck and $500 for the trailer maintenance. Hotel $250 while in KY, horse hotel $150 while in route to give him a break every 10-11hrs. $1100 for fuel round trip. I will also need someone to watch / run / pet sit the horse farm. This is a rough sketch of what I will be in need of to get to KY this year.
