About Us
Pembleton Farms of Southern California

Her desire is to pursue her passion of bringing out the best in every horse she meets, whether she is riding or teaching from the ground.
Lisa has been riding since she was in her mother's womb and has successfully shown many breeds in multiple disciplines including: Horsemastership, Western Pleasure, Gymkahna, Halter, Showmanship, Hunters, Jumpers, Eventing, In-hand, and of course Dressage.
Before the age of 10 she was training her own horses to show in the local 4-h program winning multiple high point and year end awar
ds for her region. At age 12 she started working closely with well respected trainer and judge Becky French, whom saw the potential in Lisa's riding and attitude to become what few aspire to be, true professional horseman. Traveling with Becky to watch lessons and riding many of her clients' horses, Lisa obtained a wealth of knowledge in riding multiple mounts and was even asked to show a few of the clients' horses.
By her early teens she was giving lessons to local children and training horses for others. She
was also successfully competing in the open Jumpers and Eventing, obtaining many top prizes and awards. After graduating from a private academy she was asked to finish training a young horse that had an accident with his current trainer. This was the start to becoming known for the ability to successfully start youngsters and re-train problem horses. Through taking the opportunity to work with every horse that came her way, many horses once thought hopeless and untrainable, she broadened her knowledge while refining her skills.
At 23 she opened her own training facility in Woodcrest, California in response to the growth of her mobile horse training and lesson business. The successful business grew to having 40+ regular clientelle with working students and multiple lesson horses. Clients enjoyed relaxing get togethers and rides along with doing very well in the competition ring of dressage with several high point wins.
In 2009, after competing at Nationals in Kentucky, Lisa sold her business to study under several FEI trainers on the east coast including Jane Savoie. She also had the opportunity to learn all aspects of the breeding business from collecting and AI to foaling at the Georgia Stallion Station.
Lisa is now ready to continue her business in Southern California by offering her skills and talent, particularly to the dressage industry. Working out of the lovely 5 star facility, LionHeart Ranch in Agoura Hills, it is the perfect location for you and your horse to learn in a comfortable environment. Her commitment is to bring out the best in all she meets along her way to becoming a successful FEI competitor! 2011 USDF Bronze Medal Rider! Score toward Silver :)
